SUMMER FUNES

(Executive Producer in Charge of Production)

Summer is one of the Executive Producers in Charge of Production of Liv’N DiverseCity Entertainment News Magazine Show.

As ultimate authority, Funes is responsible for the overall production, handling business and legal issues.

After receiving her B.A., in film and television from Cal State Los Angeles, Summer worked in the entertainment field, focusing on film and television productions.

Her first major project involved a four-state expedition with Time Magazine lifetime achievement award recipient, Tillie Black Bear, who exposed sexual assault and domestic violence against Native American women in a highly regarded documentary.

Eventually, Funes accepted a job with Time Warner Cable where she worked in the commercial production department for two years. There, she worked on public service announcements for Hurricane Katrina refugees living in Los Angeles, among other things.

Summer recently worked for Playboy Entertainment Group where she worked on a series of exciting projects including event promotions, merchandise advertising and the 2008 Superbowl.

She is excited about participating in the development and marketing of  Liv’n DiverseCity because as she says, “this show will be explosive.”

In her free time, Summer enjoys movies and spending time with her younger siblings.
