Enrique Roman


 

ENRIQUE ROMAN is both the Director and Director of Photography for Liv’N DiverseCity Entertainment News Magazine Show.

Roman a 2009 Academy Award Nominee, has full creative control as to the way Liv’N DiverseCity is taped. As DOP he makes all decisions when it comes to all camera angles, and all shots, as well directing the production crew and talent.

Enrique began his career in early 1997. Currently when he’s not working on LNDC he works for Channel 35’s TV line up. The Entertainment Magazine Show “Live In LA”

Co-hosted by Rasha Goel and Julian Reyes and the Emmy Award Winning News Show “LA This Week” Hosted by Ellen Cheng and the show “LA Roundtable”

Roman is no stranger to films working on such films as “Freedom Strike” starring Michael Dudikoff, and Tone Loc, and the film “Nobody” and the film “Seasaw Game”

 

Producing Music is another one of Enrique’s passions, scoring films such as “The Garden” A film by Scott Hamilton Kennedy, Black Valley Films and “El Sicario” A Laguna Films Production, “Wassup Rockers” A Larry Clark Film and scored the complete soundtrack source music for the film “How The Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer” starring America Ferrera, Elizabeth Pena, Lucy Gallardo and Steven Bauer, and also the film “Colateral”, with Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx, and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Latin America is another country you can catch Enrique’s work as he worked on commercials for Pepsi, Max, Mexico DF and Mex also providing the soundtrack for the commercial “Otra Pelicula de Huevos un Pollo”

When Enrique is not behind the lens or scoring music for a film you can catch him performing music as the lead Percussionist with the LA based Afro-Cuban Son. Group “Domingosiete” He’s also tours as both Percussionist, and Vocals for the Afro-Electropical Mexico City based Group “Poncho Kingz”

 

Roman has also performed as Guest Percussionist Vincio Caposella’s “Ovunque Proteggi”, by Warner Music Italy, 2006 Latin Garden II “the World of Latin Grooves Feat”, 2005 Latin Garden “The World of Latin Grooves Feat. Poncho Kingz, 2005 “Quitate La Mascara” by Domingosiete. Baic labs Echo Park, and 2002 “illusion” Flor De Fango. Mierie Records. Paris France.

Enrique was born and raised in Los Angeles California, graduating in 1996 from Woodrow. Wilson High School, Law Magnet in North East Los Angeles and 2000 received his Bachelor Degree in Multi-Focus Percussion, and Jazz Drums from California Institute of the Arts.

When he’s not busy with all his TV, Film, and Music Projects you can find him relaxing at his big arts studio in Los Angeles, or spending quality time with his close friends and family.
